    The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting St. Ignatius Wildcats to 43 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Monday.

    The Monarchs now sport a 21-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Serra for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 22. Archbishop Mitty will battle a Padres team coming off a 65-53 non-league win over Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA). The Padres record now stands at 16-10.

    The Wildcats (13-13) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 22-5 record. In their last contest, Santa Cruz was routed by Serra (San Mateo, CA), 65-53, in a non-league contest.
