In Monday's league outing, the Battle Lake Battlers (Battle Lake, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Brandon/Evansville Chargers (Brandon, MN), by a margin of 80-40.

The Battlers (18-2) will now prepare for their outing against Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN). The Comets go into the Freelance outing with a 17-4 record. In their last outing, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy was trounced by Underwood (Underwood, MN), 36-31, in a league outing.

The Chargers now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Hancock for a A Section 6 outing on Tuesday, February 21. Brandon/Evansville will clash with a Owls squad coming off a 77-56 non-league win over Canby (Canby, MN). The Owls record now stands at 9-8.
