The Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Byron Bears (Byron, MN), 74-57 in Monday's non-league test.
The Tigers (23-1) will now prepare for their test against Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN). The Komets go into the non-league test with a 7-12 record.
The Bears now hold a 13-12 record. They play next when they host Stewartville for a AAA Section 1 outing on Friday, February 24. Byron will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 78-51 non-league win over Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 19-4.
