The Montabella Mustangs basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the host Carson City-Crystal Eagles to 29 in the Mustangs league victory on Monday.

The Mustangs now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vestaburg for a Mid-State contest on Friday, February 24. Montabella will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 34-25 league loss to Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-11.

The Eagles (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Merrill (Merrill, MI). The Vandals come into the Mid-State contest with a 4-14 record.
