Connecticut High School Basketball - Somers knocked off by Wamogo

The Wamogo Warriors basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Somers Spartans to 51 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.
The Warriors now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Terryville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Wamogo will battle a Kangaroos team coming off a 59-43 league loss to Litchfield (Litchfield, CT). The Kangaroos record now stands at 3-17.
The Spartans (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wamogo Regional (Litchfield, CT). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Wamogo Regional ran past Classical Magnet (Hartford, CT), 50-45, in a non-league contest.
