Vermont High School Basketball - Mt. Mansfield fells St. Johnsbury Academy

Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT), 55-38 in a league bout.
With the win, Mt. Mansfield upgrades its record to 9-9 on the season. The Cougars travel to Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT) to play the Bobwhites/Comets in a Lake bout on Thursday, February 23. The Bobwhites/Comets go into the bout with a record of 12-7.
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT) in a Metro challenge, on Thursday, February 23. St. Johnsbury Academy will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record.
