Mackinaw City Comets (Mackinaw City, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Alanson Vikings (Alanson, MI), 102-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Mackinaw City upgrades its record to 20-1 on the season. The Comets host Engadine (Engadine, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Engadine won 26-25 in their recent league bout against Brimley (Brimley, MI)

Next up, the Vikings play the Wolverine Wildcats (Wolverine, MI) in a Northern Lakes bout, on Friday, February 24. Alanson will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-16 record after their 34-26 league loss to Boyne Falls (Boyne Falls, MI).
