The Avella Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Riverview Raiders to 38 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now sport a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverview for a non-league contest on Monday, February 20. Avella will battle a Raiders team coming off a 51-21 non-league loss to Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 11-10.
The Raiders (11-12) will now prepare for their contest against Avella (Avella, PA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Avella was routed by Monessen (Monessen, PA), 63-33, in a league contest.
