Everest Collegiate (Clarkston, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Genesee Christian Soldiers (Burton, MI), 38-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Everest Collegiate upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The host Cardinal Mooney Catholic (Marine City, MI) to clash with the Cardinals in a Catholic C-D D bout on Thursday, February 23. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Cardinal Mooney Catholic won 36-24 in their recent league bout against Landmark Academy (Kimball, MI)

Next up, the Soldiers clash with the Bendle Tigers (Burton, MI) in a Genesee Area - Red bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Genesee Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record.
