The Freeman Academy/Marion tipped the visiting Gayville-Volin Raiders basketball team by a final score of 31-28 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the face the Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 21. Freeman Academy/Marion will attempt to move on its 7-14 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 17-3 record after their 50-33 non-league win over Howard (Howard, SD).

With the defeat, Gayville-Volin moves to 5-16 on the year.
