Jefferson City Jays (Jefferson City, MO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO), 53-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jefferson City upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Jays host Hickman (Columbia, MO) to play the Kewpies in a Freelance bout on Thursday, February 23. The Kewpies go into the bout with a record of 19-5. Hickman lost 57-50 in their recent non-league bout against Battle (Columbia, MO)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Rock Bridge Bruins (Columbia, MO) in a Freelance bout, on Thursday, February 23. Helias will attempt to upgrade on its 18-6 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 19-6 record after their 51-46 non-league win over Cardinal Ritter College Prep (St. Louis, MO).
