In Monday's league challenge, the Northwest Catholic Lions (West Hartford, CT) ice hockey team bounced the host East Catholic Eagles (Manchester, CT), by a margin of 5-0.
The Lions now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Simsbury for a Central Connecticut - North challenge on Saturday, February 25. Northwest Catholic will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 3-2 league win over South Windsor (South Windsor, CT). The Trojans record now stands at 15-1.
The Eagles (2-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Branford (Branford, CT). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Branford tipped Guilford (Guilford, CT), 8-5, in a league challenge.
