The Union Grove Wolverines baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Pike County Pirates to 8 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Monday.
The Wolverines (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Wildcats go into the match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Whitewater edged Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA), 11-2, in a league match.
The Pirates (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Locust Grove by Ola (McDonough, GA), 7-5, in a non-league match.
