Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Braves now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walnut for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. Tishomingo County will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Kossuth (Kossuth, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Alcorn Central falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bears host Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS) to battle the Braves in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 23.
