Texas High School Softball - Georgetown bounces Smithson Valley

The Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) softball routed the visiting Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX), 11-4 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (7-1) will now prepare for their bout against Boerne (Boerne, TX). The Greyhounds go into the non-league bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, Boerne held off Steele (Cibolo, TX), 9-4, in a non-league bout.
The Rangers now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Frenship for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 23. Smithson Valley will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Idalou (Idalou, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
