The Leeds Greenwave baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting St. Clair County Fighting Saints to 2 in the Greenwave non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Greenwave (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Briarwood Christian (Birmingham, AL). The Lions go into the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Briarwood Christian edged John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL), 5-4, in a non-league match.
The Fighting Saints (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Oneonta (Oneonta, AL). The Redskins go into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Oneonta was overwhelmed by Westbrook Christian (Rainbow City, AL), 7-4, in a non-league match.
