The West Lincoln Bears baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting South Pike Eagles to 1 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Tylertown (Tylertown, MS). The Chiefs go into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Tylertown was overwhelmed by Lawrence County (Monticello, MS), 10-0, in a non-league match.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Forest Hill (Jackson, MS). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Forest Hill gained a win over Wingfield (Jackson, MS), 14-2, in a non-league match.
