Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Nazareth Prep Saints (Pittsburgh, PA), 70-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Aliquippa upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Quips travel to Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 17-7. Serra Catholic won 58-47 in their recent non-league bout against Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA)
