Indiana High School Basketball - Andrean tipped by Hammond Central

February 20, 2024: Hammond, IN 46320

The Hammond Central Wolves basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Andrean Fighting 59ers to 67 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolves now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valparaiso for a non-league contest on Friday, February 23. Hammond Central will meet a Vikings team coming off a 63-57 league win over Chesterton (Chesterton, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 18-5.

The Fighting 59ers (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Bowman Academy (Gary, IN). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Bowman Academy was nudged by South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN), 72-37, in a non-league contest.
