In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Grundy Center Spartans basketball team scored a good 77-63 triumph over the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 24. Grundy Center will attempt to better on its 19-3 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 20-4 record after their 54-53 non-league win over South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA).
With the defeat, Aplington-Parkersburg moves to 17-6 on the year.
