The McPherson Bullpups basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Augusta Orioles to 32 in the Bullpups non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bullpups now sport a 20-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mulvane for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail III contest on Thursday, February 22. McPherson will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 49-46 non-league win over Buhler (Buhler, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-5.

The Orioles (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Winfield (Winfield, KS). The Vikings enter the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail III contest with a 2-17 record. In their last contest, Winfield was defeated by Circle (Towanda, KS), 71-41, in a non-league contest.
