In Tuesday's league outing, the Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms (Blooming Prairie, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Hayfield Vikings (Hayfield, MN), by a margin of 68-39.
The Awesome Blossoms (25-3) will now prepare for their outing against Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN). The Knights go into the A Section 1 outing with a 16-12 record. In their last outing, Kenyon-Wanamingo was trounced by Triton (Dodge Center, MN), 82-55, in a non-league outing.
The Vikings now own a 5-23 record. They play next when they travel to Bethlehem Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, February 23. Hayfield will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 68-63 non-league loss to West Lutheran (Plymouth, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-19.
