In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Hiwassee Dam Eagles basketball team scored a decisive 86-41 triumph over the Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) in a 1A Little Smoky match, on Thursday, February 22. Hiwassee Dam will attempt to better on its 9-15 season record. The Highlanders enter the match with a 8-16 record after their 51-36 non-league win over Nantahala (Topton, NC).
With the defeat, Blue Ridge Early College moves to 4-19 on the year.
