The Buchanan Bucks basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting River Valley Mustangs to 21 in the Bucks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bucks now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeshore for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 22. Buchanan will battle a Lancers team coming off a 46-38 non-league win over Edwardsburg (Edwardsburg, MI). The Lancers record now stands at 11-8.
The Mustangs (0-18) will now prepare for their contest against New Buffalo (New Buffalo, MI). The Bison enter the Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, New Buffalo triumphed over Bloomingdale (Bloomingdale, MI), 71-55, in a non-league contest.
