Michigan High School Basketball - Vestaburg can't hold off Carson City-Crystal

The Vestaburg Wolverines basketball team (Vestaburg, MI), was nudged 40-39 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Carson City-Crystal Eagles (Carson City, MI)

The Eagles now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Merrill for a Mid-State battle on Thursday, February 22. Carson City-Crystal will battle a Vandals team coming off a 58-51 league loss to St. Charles (St. Charles, MI). The Vandals record now stands at 10-11.

The Wolverines (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Montabella (Blanchard, MI). The Mustangs come into the Mid-State battle with a 15-6 record. In their last battle, Montabella was nudged by Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 92-53, in a non-league battle.
