Minnesota High School Basketball - Mayo ripped by Century

The Century Panthers basketball team scored 85 points and held the visiting Mayo Spartans to 58 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mankato West for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 22. Century will battle a Scarlets team coming off a 59-58 league win over Mankato East (Mankato, MN). The Scarlets record now stands at 18-6.
The Spartans (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against John Marshall (Rochester, MN). The Rockets enter the AAAA Section 1 contest with a 14-8 record. In their last contest, John Marshall triumphed over Faribault (Faribault, MN), 85-58, in a non-league contest.
