Stockbridge Valley Indians (Munnsville, NY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting DeRuyter Rockets (DeRuyter, NY), 62-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Stockbridge Valley upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Sackets Harbor Central (Sackets Harbor, NY) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 19-1. Sackets Harbor Central won 80-39 in their recent non-league bout against Lyme Central (Chaumont, NY)
