The Edina Hornets basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Minnetonka Skippers to 67 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buffalo for a non-league contest on Friday, February 23. Edina will meet a Bison team coming off a 87-80 non-league loss to Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN). The Bison record now stands at 11-12.
The Skippers (19-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Royals enter the non-league contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Hopkins ran past St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN), 111-109, in a non-league contest.
