The Edsel Ford Thunderbirds (Dearborn, MI) basketball felled the host Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI), 54-42 in Tuesday's league test.

The Thunderbirds (12-11) will now prepare for their test against Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI). The Warriors go into the Downriver test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Woodhaven went down by Summit Academy North (Romulus, MI), 59-37, in a non-league test.

The Bears now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to Carlson for a Downriver test on Thursday, February 22. Roosevelt will encounter a Marauders squad coming off a 44-43 league loss to Allen Park (Allen Park, MI). The Marauders record now stands at 7-13.
