The John Marshall Rockets basketball team scored 85 points and held the host Faribault Falcons to 58 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rockets now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mayo for a AAAA Section 1 contest on Friday, February 23. John Marshall will battle a Spartans team coming off a 85-58 league loss to Century (Rochester, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 10-12.

The Falcons (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 1-25 record. In their last contest, Albert Lea was routed by Owatonna (Owatonna, MN), 105-65, in a non-league contest.
