The West Carter Comets basketball team (Olive Hill, KY), dropped 60-48 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Greenup County Musketeers (Greenup, KY)

The Musketeers now sport a 16-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boyd County for a non-league battle on Friday, February 23. Greenup County will battle a Lions team coming off a 99-57 non-league win over Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Lions record now stands at 23-6.

The Comets (7-18) will now prepare for their battle against Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 9-18 record. In their last battle, Menifee County prevailed over Elliott County (Sandy Hook, KY), 62-57, in a non-league battle.
