In Tuesday's league match, the host Highland Hornets basketball team scored a good 67-53 triumph over the Valencia Jaguars.

In their next game, the Hornets face the St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 5 match, on Friday, February 23. Highland will attempt to move on its 20-5 season record. The Sartans enter the match with a 14-9 record after their 73-43 league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM).
