The Kenai Central Kardinals basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Nikiski Bulldogs to 41 in the Kardinals league triumph on Tuesday.
The Kardinals now sport a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Redington for a non-league contest on Friday, February 23. Kenai Central will meet a Huskies team coming off a 73-49 non-league loss to North Pole (North Pole, AK). The Huskies record now stands at 5-12.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Grace Christian Grizzlies (Anchorage, AK) in a 3A Peninsula bout, on Friday, February 23. Nikiski will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 83-47 non-league win over Houston (Big Lake, AK).
