The Kingsley Stags basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Leland Comets to 39 in the Stags league triumph on Tuesday.

The Stags now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elk Rapids for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 22. Kingsley will meet a Elks team coming off a 57-50 league win over Boyne City (Boyne City, MI). The Elks record now stands at 14-7.

The Comets (3-17) will now prepare for their contest against Grand Traverse Academy (Traverse City, MI). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 2-20 record. In their last contest, Grand Traverse Academy was routed by Ellsworth (Ellsworth, MI), 68-51, in a non-league contest.
