The Leavenworth PIONEERS basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Turner Golden Bears to 41 in the PIONEERS non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The PIONEERS now sport a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host West for a United Kansas contest on Friday, February 23. Leavenworth will meet a Chargers team coming off a 57-55 league loss to Piper (Kansas City, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 12-7.

The Golden Bears (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Seaman (Topeka, KS). The Vikings enter the United Kansas contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Seaman was nudged by Shawnee Heights (Tecumseh, KS), 69-55, in a non-league contest.
