New Mexico High School Basketball - Mescalero Apache ripped by Tularosa

The Tularosa Wildcats basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Mescalero Apache Chiefs to 32 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lordsburg for a 2A District 3 contest on Saturday, February 24. Tularosa will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 60-49 league loss to Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM). The Mavericks record now stands at 5-17.

The Chiefs (11-12) will now prepare for their contest against Cloudcroft (Cloudcroft, NM). The Bears enter the 2A District 3 contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Cloudcroft was routed by Capitan (Capitan, NM), 45-35, in a league contest.
