The Pioneer Pioneers basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Monroe Trojans to 34 in the Pioneers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pioneers now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arbor Prep for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 22. Pioneer will battle a Gators team coming off a 66-61 non-league loss to Romulus (Romulus, MI). The Gators record now stands at 11-10.

The Trojans (9-13) will now prepare for their contest against Ida (Ida, MI). The Bluestreaks enter the non-league contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Ida triumphed over Madison (Adrian, MI), 51-50, in a league contest.
