In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Tascosa Rebels (Amarillo, TX) basketball squad edged the host Monterey Plainsmen (Lubbock, TX), by a count of 67-60.
The Rebels (23-10) will now prepare for their outing against Chapin (El Paso, TX). The Huskies go into the non-league outing with a 31-4 record. In their last outing, Chapin held off Bel Air (El Paso, TX), 82-24, in a non-league outing.
The Plainsmen now hold a 17-17 record.
