Waldron Spartans (Waldron, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host North Adams-Jerome Rams (North Adams, MI), 38-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Waldron upgrades its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Spartans host Hillsdale Academy (Hillsdale, MI) to play the Colts in a Southern Central bout on Thursday, February 22. The Colts come into the bout with a record of 17-4. Hillsdale Academy won 57-28 in their recent league bout against Litchfield (Litchfield, MI)

Next up, the Rams play the Camden-Frontier Redskins (Camden, MI) in a Southern Central bout, on Thursday, February 22. North Adams-Jerome will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record.
