The Ewen-Trout Creek Panthers basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Johnston Speedboys to 39 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Menominee for a non-league contest on Friday, February 23. Ewen-Trout Creek will battle a Maroons team coming off a 58-57 league loss to Escanaba (Escanaba, MI). The Maroons record now stands at 10-10.

The Speedboys (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Baraga (Baraga, MI). The Vikings come into the Copper Mountain contest with a 16-4 record. In their last contest, Baraga triumphed over Chassell (Chassell, MI), 79-13, in a league contest.
