North Carolina High School Basketball - Currituck County thwarts Holmes

The Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), 56-36 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Knights (15-8) will now prepare for their test against Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 17-7 record. In their last test, Northeastern notched a victory over Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC), 72-28, in a league test.

The Aces now own a 10-12 record.
