In Tuesday's league outing, the Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) basketball squad nipped the host White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC), by a margin of 31-28.
The Bulldogs (4-17) will now prepare for their outing against Croatan (Newport, NC). The Cougars go into the 3A Coastal outing with a 12-9 record. In their last outing, Croatan got by Swansboro (Swansboro, NC), 38-36, in a league outing.
The Vikings now own a 7-13 record.
