Lakeville North Panthers (Lakeville, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN), 57-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lakeville North upgrades its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Burnsville (Burnsville, MN) to play the Blaze in a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. The Blaze come into the bout with a record of 8-17. Burnsville lost 63-52 in their recent league bout against Eagan (Eagan, MN)

Next up, the Lightning play the Rosemount Irish (Rosemount, MN) in a AAAA Section 3 bout, on Friday, February 23. Eastview will attempt to upgrade on its 17-8 season record. The Irish come into the bout with a 19-6 record after their 60-55 non-league win over Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN).
