Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers (Glencoe, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers (Howard Lake, MN), 74-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Glencoe-Silver Lake upgrades its record to 20-6 on the season. The Panthers host Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 22. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 24-4. Watertown-Mayer lost 49-43 in their recent non-league bout against New London-Spicer (New London, MN)

Next up, the Lakers play the Annandale Cardinals (Annandale, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 23. Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted will attempt to upgrade on its 1-24 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 11-15 record after their 74-50 league loss to Royalton (Royalton, MN).
