In Tuesday's league outing, the Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN) basketball squad beat the visiting Jefferson Jaguars (Bloomington, MN), by a count of 71-53.

The Spartans (15-10) will now prepare for their outing against Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN). The Red Knights go into the AAA Section 6 outing with a 20-5 record. In their last outing, Benilde-St. Margaret's defeated Waconia (Waconia, MN), 85-63, in a non-league outing.
