In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Rosemount Irish (Rosemount, MN) basketball squad edged the host Lakeville South Cougars (Lakeville, MN), by a count of 60-55.

The Irish (19-6) will now prepare for their outing against Eastview (Apple Valley, MN). The Lightning go into the AAAA Section 3 outing with a 17-8 record. In their last outing, Eastview was tipped by Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN), 57-48, in a non-league outing.

The Cougars now hold a 15-10 record. They play next when they travel to Shakopee for a non-league outing on Friday, February 23. Lakeville South will clash with a Sabers squad coming off a 56-36 league loss to Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN). The Sabers record now stands at 9-16.
