St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Marshall Tigers (Marshall, MN), 67-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Peter upgrades its record to 25-1 on the campaign. The Saints host Byron (Byron, MN) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 22. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 21-4. Byron won 60-36 in their recent league bout against Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 19-7 season record. The Red Hawks come into the battle with a 23-3 record after their 86-64 non-league win over Como Park (St. Paul, MN).
