The Mescalero Apache Chiefs basketball team (Mescalero, NM), dropped 47-32 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Tularosa Wildcats (Tularosa, NM)
The Wildcats now possess a 19-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lordsburg for a 2A District 3 battle on Saturday, February 24. Tularosa will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 65-31 league win over Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM). The Mavericks record now stands at 13-11.
The Chiefs (8-13) will now prepare for their battle against Cloudcroft (Cloudcroft, NM). The Bears come into the 2A District 3 battle with a 5-18 record. In their last battle, Cloudcroft dropped by Capitan (Capitan, NM), 39-25, in a league battle.
