In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Animas Panthers basketball team scored a good 31-22 triumph over the Quemado Eagles.
In their next game, the Panthers meet the Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 22. Animas will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record.
With the defeat, Quemado moves to 1-2 on the year. The Eagles host Magdalena (Magdalena, NM) to meet the Steers in a non-league match on Saturday, February 24. The Steers enter the match with a record of 3-0.
