In Tuesday's league outing, the The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) basketball squad edged the host Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA), by a count of 49-44.
The Eagles (13-5) will now prepare for their outing against New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA). The Gryphons go into the outing with a 14-2 record. In their last outing, New Covenant was tipped by Blue Ridge (St. George, VA), 57-46, in a league outing.
The Tigers now hold a 10-4 record.
